Mpls based designers Annie and Lisa have been rocking the home and accessories design world since their first collection in 2000. The founders of The Find are an up scale mix of vintage old world and forward fashion that rings familiar in a unique way that has created an amazing following. This savvy team began their adventure in retail in 1997. The 2 design mavens opened a store front in Minneapolis in the late 90’s of affordable opulence and within a month were winning local awards and getting booked for design jobs. While developing a line of furniture for The Find that showed the duos insatiable appetite for all things edgy and old world Euro, these moxy broads took off with a burst of confidence to the national spotlight to open a wholesale division of home furnishings, art, lighting and handbags. The collection was expansive and impressive and added a haven of hipness to the Twin Cities. In the midst of their whirlwind accomplishments, the pair received a call from Shop NBC an upscale shopping network which broadcasts to 80 million home across the USA. Everything changed after meeting with Shop NBC. With Lisa as the on air guest, the first shows featuring The Finds handbags and home accessories were so successful that they pulled out all the stops and went full steam ahead with television sales. During this time, however, they kept their retail store front for a design laboratory and current knowledge of retail. The dynamic duos' handbags are the epitome of fashion and function and they have expanded there line to lifestyle bags, camera cases, computer bags that echo both fun affordable fashion and high end couture. With a chameleon flair for the international scene, Annie and Lisa continue to fuse contempory with rich history and put out more collections a year than any design house going. “Most designers do 3 to 4 collections per year, we do 14!” says Hendrickson. ” We love to wink at our wares and know that we are a company of women, by women, for women.” says Roberts. "So weather you are working mom or head of the office or perhaps an attorney or docent at the museum, we have a style for you, you can count on The Find to find your style and turn it out like only we can." Their mantra is "When in doubt, wear it all 'cause more is more!" "We are accessory addicts at heart, "says Lisa "and love the gal who piles it on." The Find gal is saucy and hip for her effective style and she isn't afraid to show it! They have traveled the world with a strong interest in ethnic mixes. Annie and Lisa are the mix masters of the Midwest and there design encompasses the world of women.
