With Lisa’s theater and antique expertise and Annie’s interior design background, it was the perfect storm for fashion. They opened their first store—a hip haven of funkiness—and the dynamic duo’s enthusiasm and unabashed joy for design was noticed in a flash.
The girls swept Minneapolis/Saint Paul off its feet in their first year of business, winning local Twin Cities awards and gracing every local television station. They launched a line of accessories and handbags, confident they had what every woman wanted—great quality and design that didn’t strain the purse strings. The brand’s opulent personal design and home couture items raised more than a few eyebrows. The collection displays originality, not to mention moxie.
Amid the whirlwind of accomplishments, ShopNBC invited them to sell their wares on national television (the network broadcasts live to approximately 60 million homes). The shows were a stunning success and the two began to ride the wave of home shopping. As the saying goes, success breeds success, and The Find now designs a line of sexy, stylish, and captivating items every month.
